Overview

Motivated practices who feel they would like to develop an on going staff development programme or extend the sessions of training, can establish customised short courses for their staff in specific streams of Theatre Techniques. These can be developed for your individual practices needs.

This half day workshop can be conducted in our training facility, or at your dental practice.

The workshop includes latest information on NHMRC Guidelines, ACORN Guidelines, and latest practical techniques including:

  • Aseptic techniques
  • Hand hygiene
  • Scrubbing, Gowning, Gloving
  • Sharps management; handling of sharps, count and disposal of single use sharps
  • Developing standards and how to implement them in a surgical environment or at a day surgery facility
